Laure Soustiel undertakes valuations and advisory work for private clients, collectors and museums. She identifies, authenticates and values Oriental works of art, and carries out valuations as well as inventories for insurance, division of estates, and inheritance purposes. More than thirty years of experience in the field of Islamic and Oriental art enables her to advise both buyers and sellers. She carries out valuations for numerous auctioneers in Paris, as well as nationally, for which she writes the public auction catalogue notices when required.

Laure Soustiel is since 1993 a member of the S.F.E.P. (Syndicat Français des Experts Professionnels en Oeuvres d’Art), the oldest organisation to represent experts in art, and which was founded in 1945.
